We have made it past the biggest lockdown and the Covid vaccine rollout is underway but things are far from normal. Client safety is extremely important so we are taking all of the necessary precautions to give you the healthiest and most enjoyable photoshoot possible.
Below is an outline of our current policies and practices regarding Covid-19 safety.
Rescheduling Policy Adjustment
A new exception is in effect for last minute cancellations that are due to Covid-19-related reasons. Open ended rescheduling may be allowed on a case-by-case basis and these rescheduled sessions will be exempt from any extra charges, fees, or penalties.

If you or anyone in your household is experiencing any of the following symptoms or you have recently been in direct contact with someone who has had a Covid positive test, please get in touch to reschedule your session for a time after a 14-day quarantine period has passed.
Please DO NOT come to your session if you have any of the following symptoms:
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Fever or chills
  • Muscle pain or body aches
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Fatigue
Furthermore, if you or anyone in your household begins experiencing COVID-19 symptoms following the session, please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule.

If anyone affiliated with Rock Carter Photography is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, your session will be rescheduled after a 14-day quarantine period has passed for all staff that is essential to your photoshoot.
Temperature Checks
Everyone attending the photoshoot (including the Rock Carter Team) must undergo a temperature check prior to the photo session. The session will be cancelled and rescheduled if anyone essential to the shoot has a temperature above 100.
Masks and Personal Safety Measures
  • Everyone attending your session (including the Rock Carter Photography Team) must wear the entire time you are in the building.
  • You should arrive wearing a mask and only remove it to have your makeup done and while being photographed.
  • Hand sanitizer will be provided to everyone upon arrival before anything begins.
  • Maintain six-foot social distance as much as possible.
Studio Clean-Up and Sanitization
  • Linens/fabrics are always washed between clients
  • All “high touch” surfaces (i.e. door handles, props, etc.) will be cleaned and disinfected between sessions.
  • A disinfectant fogger treatment will be done in studio before and after each session.
I prefer that only those being photographed attend the session. However, I know sometimes the support of a friend or loved one can help put you at ease, so I will allow only one chaperone to attend. My goal is to keep these sessions as small as possible for safety reasons.

Patience, flexibility, and understanding is a very important as we all deal with these extraordinary circumstances. I will be updating/adjusting these Covid policies as needed. Trust that my team and I are doing all that we can to ensure that you are safe.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to ask!
